Oilpainting on 50 x 70 cm prefab canvas, ready to hang

The reference to this painting was a large black-and-white print which hung on my wall for a long time earlier. I assume the photo has been taken in Paris sometime in the 1920ies but despite my good efforts I couldn't find out the name of the photographer.

I decided to make my own version in a tonalist manner, using primarily variations of brown but highlighting the jumper in the middle with bright color. My version is simplified and quite loose, not so much "parisienne" any more, but gets the mood in my opinion.
