This belongs to an impressionistic series of smaller paintings where the idea has been to get the painting done in max two days. There has also been a conscious effort to fight working with details too much. For many painters, that is an innate desire and has its place but shouldn't become a demand.

This painting will serve as study for a larger painting that I'll paint more along classical realism. You can reserve this upcoming painting already if you're interested in the outcome based on this.
